Ode to English Muffins

I love english muffins. Love them. I can’t think of anything that isn’t pretty much delightful about them – their texture, taste, and you know…general deliciousness.

Before this glutonless adventure, I was very committed to the sprouted grain english muffins made by Food for Life. Food for Life has the most amazing english muffies…I cant get enough of them. They come frozen and last a few days… forever in the freezer.

So, I obviously needed a replacement. Of course, I decided to try the gluten-free options from Food for Life. They offer multi-seed and brown rice options. I’ve been on the fence between the two (and I wont lie, I alternate each day), but the multi-seed seems to be pulling ahead for me. I spoke to my nutritionist and she thought that the multi-seed is somewhat more nutritionally sounds as well.

Toast it, throw on some honey roasted peanut butter (if you aren’t nut free), and nomnomnomnomnommmmmmmm
